Job Description :
Capgemini is looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer for its Pune office. The selected candidate will be tasked with executing automated test cases in a staging environment and resolving any issues that occur. Operating in an Agile setting, the candidate will work closely with development and DevOps teams to provide effective test automation solutions.Job Requirements :
- Completed degree in computer science and Engineering, information technology and also related discipline.
- Proven experience in automation testing, especially using Java and Selenium.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Practical experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning of new technologies.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Responsibilities :
- Execute and oversee automation dry runs in a staging environment.
- Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks to incorporate testing into the development pipeline.
- Leverage tools like Git, Jenkins, and Jira for executing and tracking automation processes.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Identify and resolve automation failures quickly.
- Stay updated with new automation technologies introduced by the development team.
- Collaborate closely with the client to deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
- Expand skillset to include technologies like Scala as required by project demands.
