Job Description :
Capgemini is looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer for its Pune office. The selected candidate will be tasked with executing automated test cases in a staging environment and resolving any issues that occur. Operating in an Agile setting, the candidate will work closely with development and DevOps teams to provide effective test automation solutions.
Job Requirements :
- Completed degree in computer science and Engineering, information technology and also related discipline.
- Proven experience in automation testing, especially using Java and Selenium.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
- Practical experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning of new technologies.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Responsibilities :
- Execute and oversee automation dry runs in a staging environment.
- Work within Agile/DevOps frameworks to incorporate testing into the development pipeline.
- Leverage tools like Git, Jenkins, and Jira for executing and tracking automation processes.
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Identify and resolve automation failures quickly.
- Stay updated with new automation technologies introduced by the development team.
- Collaborate closely with the client to deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
- Expand skillset to include technologies like Scala as required by project demands.
